Deep in the heart of London’s West End something is happening.  At The Royal Society Of Art (the very rooms Shakespeare learned to play Free Bird) Al, from Our Man In The Field, hosts an intimate night of music.  Featuring one Global star, one hidden gem and Al himself.

In Al's own words: “over the years of touring we’ve come to know a lot of great songwriters and if there’s one thing I’ve learned about those people, it’s wow they can talk.  Especially the American ones, am I right?   So we thought why not give them a space to tell their stories and play their songs - but not too many, just the right amount.”

The names of the acts are kept a secret until the night of the show to allow international touring acts to drop in unhindered by press, radius clauses or set lists.

The Song writers round a is a tradition more common in other parts of the word so it’s about time London had it’s own.  Nashville has The Blue Bird, LA has the Hotel Cafe, Austin has The Saxon and now London has Al’s Pals at the RSA..  

There will be more surprises on the night and we're filming the performances and publishing them to our TV channel so look smart people.
